Francesco Toto
Francesco Toto’s journey in artistry began at a young age, driven by an intrinsic need for creative expression. After graduating from the “G. Pellegrino” Art Institute in Lecce at age 18, he moved to Cremona to study guitar making at the “Antonio Stradivari International School of Violin Making.” His pursuit then took him to Germany for instrument restoration before he returned to Cremona to specialize in string instrument making. Over the years, he has dedicated himself to refining the perfect varnish and acoustics, and carefully selecting woods with unique grain patterns. By collaborating with Cremona’s historic workshops, he has honed his craft and deepened his dedication to creating instruments with both elegance and a unique voice. Even today, his commitment remains unyielding as he crafts each instrument with a personal touch, imbuing it with a rich, distinctive sound.
